New Zombies icecreams

Peters have come up with an icecream that caught mine and my kids' interest. ZOMBIES! You can read up a little about the icecreams on the Peters Zombies page but it really doesn't tell you that much about them but the flavour. Trying is the best way to find out. These icecreams are $2 each so we tried both today.

These are awesomely just in time for Halloween and The Walking Dead coming out in a few days. Maybe your kids shouldn't know about the Walking Dead though.. but hey, zombies are fun and disgusting no matter what age you are and to be able to eat some gross looking icecreams is a part of childhood! Kind of.

SNOT

We tried the Snot version first. I'm not sure what shape it's suppose to be. Severed limb? Snot is suppose to be cola flavoured outside and lemon flavoured slime (snot) inside. The cola is black. That was a bit off putting at first. I guess the gross factor works a little with this colour. It will make a mess and turn your kids' tongues black too by the way but that adds to the amusement.

Inside was much better! Lemony gross slime. Aw yeah. Kids enjoyed that part and because it was fun to eat we raced back to get the other flavoured icecream.

GUTS

You can't beat getting an icecream called Guts. Sadly the same shape as Snot.

Natural flavoured lime on the outside which was a great change from the sugary chemical flavoured lime you usually get in anything. It was quite tasty and refreshing. The inside was a hard chalkish texture red.. center thing? BUT it was popping candy once you sucked on it. That was another fun icecream

All in all, two great new icecreams to try. Nothing I'd buy again but new icecreams are always great to get. They make Summer and childhoods.
